Overview
Dhikala Zone is the largest and most picturesque safari zone in Jim Corbett National Park. Known for its stunning open grasslands, dense Sal forests, and panoramic views of the Ramganga River and valley, Dhikala offers one of the best chances to spot tigers and herds of wild elephants in their natural habitat.
Located deep inside the park, Dhikala is accessible only to those with night stay permits, making it a truly immersive wildlife experience. The Dhikala Forest Rest House is the primary accommodation inside the zone and is well-equipped to host nature lovers, photographers, and wildlife enthusiasts.
Safari in Dhikala is conducted via canter (open bus) or jeep, depending on the booking. The biodiversity here is unmatched, with chances to spot not just tigers, but also leopards, crocodiles, wild elephants, deer, and hundreds of bird species.
